Privacy Policy

Account: when you sign in with Apple, we receive a unique identifier and the name/email you choose to share.

Profile & dog: your name, optional photo and Instagram handle, and your dog's details (name, breed, age, weight, photo).

Walks: GPS routes, distance, duration, pace, calories and any photos you attach to a walk.

Approximate location (opt-in): only if you turn on "Share my area," we store a coarse (~1 km) location so you can appear on the local leaderboard and find nearby walking friends. You can turn this off at any time.

Device tokens: if you enable notifications, we store a push token to deliver them.

To provide and improve the Service: record and display your walks and stats, power the leaderboard and walking-friends features, send the notifications you opt into, and generate AI walk suggestions. We do not sell your personal data.

Other Jupiter users can see your dog's name and photo, your owner name and optional Instagram, and your stats on the leaderboard. If you enable "Share my area," nearby users can see that you're in the area (approximate distance only — never your exact coordinates).

We use trusted providers to run Jupiter, including Supabase (database, authentication, storage), Apple (sign-in, push notifications, payments) and Google (maps and AI suggestions). They process data only to provide their services to us.

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the app (Account → Delete account), which removes your profile, dog and walks. You may also email us to request deletion.

We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Jupiter is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. To exercise them, email us and we'll help.

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app.
